Frank Unger

Frank Unger joined the current vestry following his retirement in leading Saint Paul’s soup kitchen, the parish’s largest and one of the most popular ministries for the past 18 years. His professional background includes 30 years in working in railroad management, principally with the Canadian National Railway. Frank’s railroad experience includes 5 years as a federally appointed railroad trustee administering several midwestern bankrupt railroads. He also served for 30 years as a selected reservist in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Captain (06). The final decade of Frank’s career involved him organizing and operating a high-speed rail perishable express service with the long-distance trains of Amtrak. Frank has been a member of Saint Paul’s for 23 years.
