In 14 cities and counties in Southeastern Virginia, ForKids delivers quality individualized client-focused solutions designed to achieve stability for families and a lifetime of success for children. Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. St. Pauls donated 32 shoe boxes filled with toys. Visit samaritanspurse.org.

The Basilica Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen distributes food throughout the year to individuals and families in need. We provide meals to the homeless, homeless veterans, and the poor including children who are not receiving federally funded breakfast/lunch school meals while school is not in session. St. Paul’s provides weekly sandwich making and bag lunch preparation for the soup kitchen and supported the Thanksgiving Food Drive with 28 grocery bags full of food as well as gift cards for turkeys.
